TURN-OVER OF LIVELIHOOD EQUIPMENT TO BENEFICIARIES OF DOLE AND SCFI

A Turn-over Ceremony was conducted by Sunwest Care Foundation, Inc. last August 19, 2022 at the Celebration Plaza of Embarcadero de Legazpi, to award the livelihood materials and equipment to the thirty-eight (38) beneficiaries of the Individual Livelihood Assistance Project under DILP (DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program), in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment Region 5 (DOLE V). The livelihood materials and equipment awarded were according to the proposed items of the project beneficiaries for enhancement of their existing livelihood and skills.

The activity was witnessed by Ms. Amy M. Duran (SCFI Board of Trustees), Ms. Olga R. Ludovice (DOLE Albay Provincial Office Senior. LEO/Livelihood Focal Person), Hon. Rowena B. Basanta (Brgy. Captain of Misibis, Bacacay), Hon. Marites Magnata (Brgy. Captain of Alobo, Daraga), and Hon. Larry Ces (Brgy. Kagawad of San Bernardo, Tiwi).

SCFI Board of Trustees, Ms. Amy Duran giving her Opening Remarks, and DOLE Albay Provincial Office LEO, Ms. Olga Ludovice gave her short message and reminders for beneficiaries.

Through the partnership and assistance, we aim to empower the skills of the beneficiaries for the sustainment of their families’ needs, especially in this time of crisis. The assistance to them will not end in the provision of materials, but will continue through monitoring and ensuring that the Beneficiaries are gaining income and properly maintaining their livelihood.
